Seminar

People who successfully complete a seminar receive a ‘seminar certificate of attendance’. Again, this is not a license.

Attendees will acquire basic knowledge of the standard grading system (NLGA, CLSA and ALSC), the roles of grading agencies, and the basis of lumber grading rules. The seminar also illustrates characteristics on short lumber blocks and provides a question and answer period.

The seminar length is approximately one-half to a full day depending on attendee feedback.
